iPhone eSIM install

Compatible with iOS 16 and later.

  1. Open Settings

    Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data). Tap "Add eSIM."

  2. Choose "Use QR Code"

    Tap "Use QR Code" then scan the QR from your Haxobit email using a second screen.

  3. Confirm and label

    iOS asks how to label the line. "Haxobit — {Country}" makes it easy to spot later.

  4. Set default data line

    Choose whether the eSIM is your default for cellular data. You can leave your primary line for calls.

  5. Enable data roaming

    On the eSIM line only: Settings → Cellular → your eSIM → Data Roaming: On. This is normal for foreign eSIMs.

Troubleshooting

If something goes wrong.

The most common issues, ranked by how often they happen.

Make sure you are using the iPhone camera app or Settings scanner (not a QR-reader app). The QR must fill roughly a quarter of the frame — get closer.
